Energo Agrar participated in on-line conference “Bringing value to Agrobiomas” which took part February 10-11, 2021
Participation in the online conference Bringing Value to Agrobiomas allowed our Company to take part in many online meetings with colleagues from all over Europe interested in the development of biomass feedstock business for a variety of applications: from energy generation to the production of biocomposites (building materials, bioplastics, etc.). The existing EU standards for limiting CO2 emissions into the atmosphere make us think about new tasks and look for new ways to solve old problems of providing production with raw materials and energy. Fast-growing perennial crops such as Miscanthus have long been the focus of growers across virtually all of Europe. The interest in biomass on an industrial scale is growing. Ukraine is one of the few countries capable of ensuring sustainable supplies of Miscanthus biomass and products of its processing to European markets. The presence of a large number of marginal lands, high-quality planting material, proven technologies for planting and caring for plantations, a proven team of professionals allows the Energo-Agrar team to participate in the development of this growing market.
