Harvesting Miscanthus yield in 2016

ENERGO AGRAR have completed harvesting of yield of Miscanthus Giganteus in April 2017. The plantation was established in 2014 and total area was about 207 Ha. By the end of 3rd year plants was about 2.5-2.8 m in height.

Harvesting was completed withing 7 working days using Claas Jaguar 850 harvester.

Average yielding was about 14 tn/Ha of dry (14%) biomass.

Our estimations made last autumn 2016 were confirmed.

The miscanthus chips will be used as a raw material for different kinds of bio-based products and will make bio-based future to be closer.
